How can I find out if my motherboard can support dual core?
I think I have an intel desktop motherboard D101GGC. It came with an emachines w3502 desktop computer. Does this motherboard support dual core processors? Is LGA775 and 800 or 533mgz FSB all I need to know to see if the motherboard supports the processor? I'm not good with computers so I don't know what these terms mean.

- Go to the intel site and look up the model number you think you have. Also, if you're not too good with computers, I reccomend you don't try and replace your processor...It's not for the faint of heart lol...
- Yes, it would work with this combination. But i suggest you that you should not do this task because you would face many problems with your system in the futures.
