How do sophisticated mobile devices like the iPhone have processors that do entirely without fans or heatsinks?

1. Small, light, and doesn't run on a lot of power. There's not a lot of energy being drawn from the CPU to make it burn as hot as a mobile CPU. Plus, iPhone CPU is downclocked/throttled down from 6~~ MHz to like... 412 MHz.
