How do I find motherboard specs for my computer?

I'm looking to upgrade my GPU and RAM, but I'm not entirely sure if my motherboard can handle what I want to buy. I have a Dell XPS420 if anyone knows off hand what it can handle, or... Are there any programs out there, or other ways, that can tell me things like Brand, RAM capacity and type, PCI express capatability, etc? Thanks!
