Summary: same thickness glue between the resistor and the heat sink give two flat surfaces This should also help in that we are consistant in the amount of surface contacts the heat sink For benchmark the resistor was hooked up to the power supply and 1Amp was applied The voltage was 3 5V 1A Using an IR thermometer I took measurements every minute for 10
